I'm a guy and for the past two or three months it seems like I'm losing a bit more hair than normal. I lose the most when I shower and just a few when I come my hair. I didn't notice this happening until after the second time I dyed my hair. I don't dye it very often. But I'm losing it mostly from the back and sides just a few from the top.
Is this normal and could there be a medical condition causing this?16 years old and losing my hair?
see your doctor16 years old and losing my hair?
Have you grown your hair longer? If you have short hair and see it everywhere, you have a problem. But, if you have grown out your hair, and it is a few inches long, you are going to see a lot more of it around the bathroom. My hair is long now, and I have hair everywhere in the bathroom, and still enough on my head to cover my scalp. Everyone loses about 100 hairs per day, and if they are long, they are noticeable. But, considering most guys wear really short hair, they never see it.
You could possibly be allergic to the hair dye. It usually stays in for about 8 weeks before it washes out or grows out. Anytime you put any type chemical compounds on your hair, you risk hair loss as a possible side effect. Also, no smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage %26amp; no sugary sweet soda's.
Hair is made in hair follicles which are like tiny pouches just under the skin surface. A hair normally grows from each follicle for about 3 years. It is then shed, and a new hair grows from the follicle. This cycle of hair growth, shedding, and new growth goes on throughout life
Do you play with your hair a lot or comb it too much? Combing your hair too much can actually pull hair out or weaken your scalp. That's IF you comb too much, because you're scraping your scalp while you do it.
did anyone in your family tree have hair losing problems?
if not consult your doctor.
