Help! My hair is falling out. I have been taking narcotics for back pain, is this why I'm losing my hair?

I was in a severe auto accident 18 months ago, and have been taking heavy narcotics since that time. I had back surgery almost a year ago, and have had complications from that surgery. I have had no choice but to be on these narcotics, because of the unbearable pain. I have gone through about 10 outpatient procedures since the back surgery. In a couple of days, they are going to surgically implant a pain pump, and I will be taken off most of the narcotics. Even with that, I will be getting morphine through the pump. My hair became very thin, and now I notice my hair is coming out in the shower, in the bed, all the time. I can run my hands through it, and come up with about 20 strands of hair. I used to have beautiful, thick hair and now, I almost have nothing left. Is there anything I can do? I am a woman, so I really don't want to be bald. I don't want to resort to wearing a wig, because they look so fake. Any products out there to stop hair from falling out? Help me!Help! My hair is falling out. try taking cod liver oil
I also have a back problem and hair fall.

However, the doctor told me that my back problem is not the cause. Instead, it may be due to scalp problems which we are unaware of. Try using bethamethasone in lotion form.
