It's normal to lose up to a hundred hairs a day, so the amount may seem like a lot, but could just be normal for you (I lose a ton of hair myself).
However, some medical conditions increase hair loss (most noteably hypothyroidism). You may want to check with your doc to see if there is a medical cause for the problem.
They make specific ';hair, skin, and nails'; vitamins; if you can't find those, take prenatal vitamins (you can buy them OTC). These are great for your hair.I am losing my hair, please help!!?
First, See a doctor to find out why your hair is falling out.
Are you a vegetarian or vegan? You may not be receiving the levels of protein your body requires. Look into either a doctor-recommended protein supplement (recommended by your Own doctor), or foods that contain a lot of protein, like nuts or Vegetarian imitation meats by Morningstar brand.
Are you stressed out? Perhaps try relaxing more often with a book and a your favorite soda or juice. Or, maybe meeting with a therapist to talk weekly, or every other week could help. Check with your insurance to look into your coverage plan.
Or, maybe hair loss is genetic in your family. I just read an article in the newest issue of nylon with hair loss problems. she found a great cure for them. The beauty editor of Nylon found her solution by using products created by Mary Brunetti. The line is titled TailRx. It is actually a horse shampoo, BUT works to reduce hair loss. The author of the article also found sucess in products like Redken's Anti-Snap.
First and foremost, see your doctor regarding your health. I hope this helps!
Stop dying your hair, stop using curlers/straighteners, and stop using the blow dryer
Go to the store, and get moisturizing or hair therapy shampoo+conditioner. I really like dove.
When you shower, let it air dry
Get it trimmed frequently to cut off split ends
And at walmart you can buy leave in conditioner to also help boost your hair.
This will help you keep it healthy. If you continue to keep loosing, I would contact a doctor right away.
Yeah go see a doctor and eat healthy. Your hair is a direct product of what you eat/your lifestyle.
Stay off of drugs and alcohol. They will screw your hair up too.
Also don't get stressed. And if you are do some calming techniques.

Take lots of Vitamin B12. That stuff is great for your hair. It worked for me. My sister also uses this John Frieda shampoo and conditioner. It's kinda expensive, but she says it works wonders for her.
