For about 2 weeks my hair has been constantly falling out. What's wrong? I take a shower everyday and keep it healthy. But I do have very LONG hair and I haven't gotten it cut since July.Losing my hair?
People lose quite a bit of hair every day. If you are noticing more hair loss than usual, it could be a result of several things (nutrition, dry/winter weather, post-maturnity, getting older, etc.) I would change my shampoo to one that provides extra moisture like Pantene's Restorative product line. When you are using shampoo, gently massage it in from your scalp to your ends (no finger nails). Always use conditioner, but do not apply the conditioner to the scap...start about 1/4'; away from the scalp and work down; paying special attention to your ends. I would cut back on the extra hair products and blow dry on a warm vs. hot setting. If you feel comfortable, I would consider washing every other day. Lastly, I would not wait so long between hair trimmings. Once every 8 wks (2 mos.) is a good measure of time between trimmings. This will keep your hair looking great by stimulating growth bu cutting away dry %26amp; damaged ends and your very LONG hair will look neater and prettier. As for diet - drink lots of water and eat well balanced meals that are high in protein and low in carbs and fats w/ lot's of fruits %26amp; veggies ;)Losing my hair?
Don't wash it everyday...it's bad. Get it cut, and drink water and take vitamins.
It's either Stress or Genetics. Either way if it gets to be to much see your family Doctor and maybe he can refer you to a specialist..and to the dumbass that said ';maybe you have cancer'; SHE WOULD ONLY LOSE HER HAIR IF SHE WAS DOING CHEMO! NOT BY JUST HAVING CANCER!';
the shampoo that u use i think its very bad
also bec. u wash it every day
u should go to any doctor
maybe you have cancer.. not trying to scare you off.. but it is a sign.. try going to some hair specialist. :)
You're brushing to hard, use cold water to rinse out your hair, drink water, don't wash your hair everyday it's unhealthy, only condition every other day and just overrall take care of your health! =) If you go too GNC you can ask them what would be best for your hair, I take something like that but only because my mom makes me, haha.
I guess I would be worried if the amount of hair you're losing is noticable on your head.
I have thick head of hair and I go through times of the year when I lose more hair than others, this time of the year is one of them, but it is not noticeable, more keeps growing in.
I always op for the natural approach..........taking a good natural vitamin and staying hydrated, not washing your hair as frequently.
