It sounds like a fairly normal problem, your hair loss could be stress related, but if you think you're starting to lose your hair you may want to start doing something about it right now. I had the same problem and started using Rogaine for women and I haven't noticed any hair falling out. The only downside to using it is that you need to use it on a regular basis.

Sometimes you can find free samples to get you started. I don't know if there are anymore left here but you can always try http://www.freesamplesfromheaven.com/rog

I hope that helps :)Why Am I Losing My Hair?
its the perm and probably stressing. how old r u ?

when i was 17- most recently. i lost alot of hair. when i was younger didnt have a perm i had reale thick hair.ALOT OF IT. as i got in my teenage years.. school , boys, friends, family, life.. all that stuff was stressing me out and i lost hair, lost weigh. itl take a toll on your life. drink lots of water. relax and dont pay any attention to it. also take better care of it if u hadnt . i wash my hair better and use better shampoos and conditioners i no longer see the large amounts after i get out shower !!! i also dont stress about things alot like i used too !!
Have you been depressed or stressed out lately? Might be that. Or maybe the shampoo product your using. If your concerned about that look the product up on the internet and look at some reviews. Maybe some people have been having the same problem. If nothing works for you, then go to the doctor.
Have you recently had a baby or a miscarriage? Abrupt hormone changes can cause you to loose hair. (Or if you changed your birth control method, that can affect it too)
it's normal to lose up to like 50 hairs a day.
Harsh chemicals (e.g. hair coloring, perms)

Dietary deficiencies (e.g. iron deficiency)

Thyroid problems

By far the majority of cases of hair loss (with the exception of male pattern baldness) are only temporary and will respond well to treatment. Treatment will usually involve management of the underlying causes by using different ways for treating it, ranging from a change in medication, treating an underlying medical condition and using products to promote hair growth

There are several treatment options that may help to stimulate and encourage hair growth. If hair loss occurs as a result of an underlying condition or disease, then the condition needs to be treated first. The various types of hair loss are treated with specific medication which includes antibiotics, corticosteroids, or steroid injections. For more serious episodes of hair loss, surgical procedures such as hair transplants, scalp reduction or skin grafts may be performed to replace hair loss.

Natural and holistic therapy offers a gentler alternative for people experiencing hair loss than the harsh effects of conventional medication. Treatments such as herbal and homeopathic remedies stimulate and encourage hair growth as well as support blood circulation, hormonal balance and thyroid functioning.

Herbal remedies along with good nutritional diet (supplements in case of severe deficiency or if directed by your doctor) help hair grow stronger and more plentifully by nourishing it at the roots. They achieve this by stimulating blood flow and supplying nutrients to the hair follicles and hence promoting healthy hair growth and slowing down excessive hair loss. Although the process begins within a few days, as the hair grow slowly, the results are visible only after a few months.

Herbs commonly used include Ginkgo biloba, Rosmarinus officinale and Xanthoxylum clavaherculis help to promote strong, abundant hair. Other powerful herbs such as Equisetum arvense, Avena sativa and Echinacea are effective combating hair loss and nourishing hair follicles.
