Hair problem (am i losing my hair)?

Ok so when ever i run my fingers through my hair and pinch them together and pull so the Hair runs through my hands i get 5 at most and sometimes none. Im scared that i may be losing my hair, my dad is bald but my mom dad had a full head of hair. I have brown hair that curls on the sides and slightly curls in the front. I just changed shampoos from head and shoulders regular to fructis cause i thought it might be that. I also had my hairthinnedd out allot last time i got it cut, i also straiten my hair with a flat iron and i have been doing so for the past 5 years . Can any of these things contribute to the sudden in crease in hair los or am i just imagining things. plz help i love my hairHair problem (am i losing my hair)?
All that heat you are applying to your hair is damaging it and causing it to be brittle. The fact that you are literally pulling out your own hair by '; run my fingers through my hair and pinch them together'; is not helping. Stop thinning it and minimize using the flat iron. if you must straighten it, set it to a lower heat. You need more vitamins in you hair so try a shampoo and conditioner like Treseame or Herbal essences. pampin protien is very good for helping damaged hair.Hair problem (am i losing my hair)?
sometimes switching shampoos can cause changes like this.. but using a flat iron everyday doesn't help. you should definitely use some heat resistance cream everyday. my friend is 16 and he is going bald and needs shots in his head... if it starts becoming a big problem you should get it checked out. good luck!
Colon cleansing is the modern method to lose weight. Boffins have noted the fact that not all additional weight is thanks to excess fat, a load of weight just lies there in the pipes, and all you have to do is rinse it out. http://forath.beststardiet.info has a risk free trial on currently, give it a go, you could lose up to 20 lbs!
Stop straitening it, a straight iron, especially when used daily damages hair.

Also, it depends how old you are.

If you have any other questions about this, feel free to email me or IM me, im on now.

Hope i can help soon!
it really doesn't matter if you mom's dad has hair or is bald. my mom's dad had a full head of hair, yet mine is thinning. i am doing what i can to keep it. it is genetics, but it can skip generations.
since balding comes froms your moms dad i think you maybe in the clear and that it is from years of hair abuse. If you start noticing a bald spot then maybe you should consult with a dermatologist
