Mental breakdown (also known as nervous breakdown) is a non-medical term used to describe a sudden, acute attack of mental illness such as depression or anxiety. When used in common social discourse, the term often has pejorative connotations.

Take some deep breaths, and just find anything that will relax you and stick with doing that for a while.  Avoid as much stress as possible and take some ';you'; time.  If there are any projects that need done but are not in desperate need of being done, let them go until you are feeling more stable.
De-stress!!!  Do something nice for yourself. Take a break! (that should also help with spousal problems too) Im a HUGE advocate of going to the gym. An hour of doing something that will improve myself is just what i need. A break from the daily grind and a chance to work at something good for me. Get an Ipod and go for 30 minutes or an hour everyday - at midnight if you need to. Its impossible to be stressed when you are exercising - medically impossible in fact. Your body releases endorphins when that part of the brain is activated. If that doesnt work get some counseling - talking to a non biased party often helps even if you dont believe in the mumbo jumbo ;)
i have had a break down before... just cry. let it out- dont keep it in because it will rip you apart. i wish that i could tell you something better, but nothing can stop your breakdown... your mind will find its natural way to cope... just know that everything you feel is real... never be ashmed to express how you feel!
If  you  were  trying  to  carry  a  100 lbs  of  stuff ,  you  would  decide  to  drop  some  .  .  .
You  could   not    carry  100 lbs   very   long  .   .   .
Same  with  stress .  .  .   you   are  carrying  tooooo  much.
Take  a  jacuzzi  and  a  liter  of  water  and  think  .   .  
What   do   you  want  to  keep  and  what   do  you  need  to  drop ?
Either   you   think  about  it   %26amp;   make  a  choice  OR
Life  backfires   and  things  start  dropping  You  
{and  they  may  Not  be  the  ones   you   would  have  chosen  to  loose.}
You  choose   now  or   'life'   will  choose  later .
