Erm, well, I have at least 30 hairs on my bedroom floor after 1 week (it gets vacuumed up), If I sleep without braiding my hair, 2-5 hairs are on my pillow, when I brush my hair it doesnt always come out, but if I brush in the morning, about 4 hairs come out, in the shower, about 5 - 20 hairs come out, I always find hairs on my clothes...like I found 5 hairs on the back of my jumper after 1 day.
I asked my mom about finding hair on my bedroom floor - she says that there has always been hair on the floor since I was little, and that she remembers vacuuming it all up after a week, and that I've just begun to ';notice'; it more 'cos I'm obsessed about it.
By the way, I have long hair (longest layer mid back, shortest layer - side fringe)
When I try pulling out a hair, it doesn't hurt. When hairs fall out naturally (not cos I pull), it has a white tip. What is the white tip? Is it the hair follicle, and does that mean it won't grow back??
I'm 14.
When I put my hair in 2 plaits, it looks thinner than my plaits were in the pictures from when I was 9. Not really really thin, but thinner. Is it because of my layers?? My parting/scalp looks normal - it doesnt look bald or anything.14 years old - am I losing my hair?? Plz help.?
Loosing hair is pretty normal. All of us have hair that falls out. New hair replaces it. I would think that your hair will, and always has been, growing back. If you think your hair loss is excessive, or that your hair is thinning, you could talk to a dermatologist.14 years old - am I losing my hair?? Plz help.?
Your the same as me and i asked my Hairdresser. She said that there is nothing to worry about because its just malting. I have black, long hair and the white tip at the end means the hair is damaged, im guessing you have been straightening it. i always seem to find lots of split ends and im sure if you look closley you might aswell. This is all caused by either summer, straightening or havent had a haircut in a while...goodluck ;D
Bubble, Bubble, Toil %26amp; Trouble
SLS or Sodium Lauryl Sulfate is most often found in skin care products that lather such as soaps and shampoos.
Many people shy away from consuming hot dogs because of the nitrates they contain. However, the SLS products you use on your hair and skin are believed to contain the same harmful substances. In fact, the amount of nitrates absorbed to your body is 100 times more potent than a single hot dog.
Enough cannot be said about the caustic and damaging effects SLS has on your hair and skin. The hair loss and corrosion can age your hair. Your skin will also experience burning and flaking. Perhaps the worst effects are those that affect your health far into the future.
The best thing you can do to avoid this harmful substance is to read the label of each product you purchase. Lotions, soaps, shampoos, and any other substance that touch your hair or skin can contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate.
Youre fine. Dont worry about it hair falls out naturally. This happens to everybody.
It's totally normal. I had a long hair once and when i brushed my hair i always had lots of hair on the brush. It didnt hurt too and I didnt look bald. And by the way i was even younger than you. (now i am 15) Unfortunately, the best way to solve this problem is to cut it short or at least semi long. When I cut my hair, I could brush it normally and now i am totally fine. It is very easy to brush my hair.... I was kinda sad at first that i cut it but now i even like short hair more. Its very comfortable and i sometimes dont brush it for the whole day while i am in school. But dont worry you will not get bald because of it. If it is bugging you, just cut your hair. Trust me it actually feels great. Good luck!
