Help...I am losing my hair?

I had gastric bypass surgery in 1999 and ever since, I am losing large amounts of hair when I brush it or wash it. Luckily I had thisk hair to start with. Is there a vitamin that I am lacking? I read vitamin C but is this true? What can I do to prevent this?Help...I am losing my hair?
I know there's one other way of loosing hair and thats stress and panicin too much. Do you stress alot because if you do then get lots of rest and always stay calm. also if you use a hair dryer there's less force to the hair so it doesn't fall off as much when your pulling it while drying it with a towel. hope you get better soon, loosing hair and panicking about it makes it worse.

also speak to a pharmacist they're very helpful, doctors are a'holes.Help...I am losing my hair?
Best bet?

Talk to your doctor!!!

It may just be hereditary....My husband started losing his hair in college %26amp; med school. He was totally bald on top by the age of 32.
I have tried everything, biotin, electic therapy, regain, even stuff recommended by a barber (smelled like horse s**t in a curring house), wig, and so on. The only result was loss of money in addition to hair. Decided to keep my hair real short, most like it better anyway.

Never heard of vitamin c, by father took it faithfully and never grew back any he lost to genetics.

Sorry
