Well this might sound crazy, But desperate people do desperate things. Buy some Super Omega 3 (available at Kmart)softgels that contain 6%26amp;9 fatty acids. Cut them open and rub them into your thinning spots. I have a couple of thinning spots and I started doing this and I see some new hair growth. Also use some 100% virgin olive oil all through your hair.(sleep in it) I was told this would help. One more thing at Sallys Beauty Supply buy some ic(Inter Cellular) Fantasia and rub it into your scalp this helps nourish your scalp and promotes new hair growth. I have been doing all of these and something is working because I have new hair growth. Also say a lot of prayers. God created us and he can restore our hair. Eat alot of Omega 3's for example eat alot of fish, or take a tablespoon of flax oil everyday. This will not only make your hair grow but it will make your hair grow HEALTHIER! Hope this helps! Good luck!

Honestly, see your doctor! You could have any one of a bunch of skin/hair disorders that could be treated with medication. Rogaine might not cut it :(
