Am I losing my hair? How would i know?

I'm 14 and it seems like im losing more hair than the usual. Every time I run my fingers through my hair i pull out like 6 pieces of hair %26amp; even in the shower I feel like I am losing a lot of hair. Like it really seems like a lot. I'm scared. I just want to know whats the normal hair to lose per day and what isn't normal.

Please %26amp; thank you!Am I losing my hair? How would i know?
Hair loss can be a lot of reasons.

you may be using some kind of product, gel, spray etc that is reacting with your scalp

or even the shampoo and conditioner you use.

try changing product or going natural, and change your shampoo.

as for the shower. try washing your hair in lukewarm water, not hot, the hot water makes your pours on your head open up, and when you are washing, more hair than normal will fall out.

My dad had been suffering from hair loss and only recently he started to see a huge difference with his hair (lots of fine hair growing out especially at the temple area) after trying out the various natural techniques taught to grow hair for 1 week at this website http://www.regrowmyhair.info

I must say its a very informative, effective and easy to follow step-by-step guide. I highly recommend it to anyone who is suffering from hair loss.

Hope it helps ! =)

14. Could be a nutrition issue. Tell your mom and see your doctor.
you lose 100 strands of hair a day.

so you might just be freaking out for no reason.

or you could have dyed your hair and fried it, or straightened it to much.
If you are not sure if you are losing your hair or not, there are a couple of ways that you can tell;

* After you take a shower check the drain for clumps of hair-long enough to be yours. If it's your color hair, than you lost it.

* After you wake up in the morning, if you have a light colored pillow sham, check the pillow for hair.

* If you brush your hair, and half of it sticks to the brush, then you are probably losing your hair.
It could just be a phase. My hair goes through times where it seems alot is starting to come out but it usually passes and goes normal again, i wouldnt worry :)
everyone loses hair. it,s when it don,t come back in is when you have to worry.
