OMG I went through that!
I lost SO much hair while I was on my diet!
I was 180ish and I am now 140...
I lost all my weight in 3 months!
I thought I was being healthy because I lost it by changing my diet and exercising 5 days a week
After I lost my weight, i continued dieting but NOT that extreme, and I started to lose my hair! I was freaking out because it wasn't just a couple of strands, it was 10-15 at a time whenever I would pass my hands in my hair! It got so bad that I would wear a hat/scarf just so I can keep myself from freaking out and touching my hair
It's because you are missing all the essentials vitamins and minerals. You NEED to take vitamins and eat food that contains all the nutrients your body needs
When I was on my diet, I cut out SO many foods, I guess it was a shock to my body....
Lentils are good for you, and if you are losing too much hair but dont want to change anything from your diet, then eat lentils as a meal...they have iron or just take a multi vitamin...
II'm slowly getting my full head of hair back...
I never went bald or anything, but it was frustrating to see how much hair i was losing daily....
In the meantime, if you are a girl, you should go to the beauty supply store and buy an ';Emergency'; treatment, it helps your scalp to tighten....and keep your hair follicles in...I did it every 2 weeks...I'm dieting and losing my hair also, Why?
you dont have enough vitamins in your body. if youre practically starving yourself, the least you can do is take vitamin pills. these dont have calories. your body becomes very weak and uses every single tiny thing that you eat. if it has fat in it, it uses it all. your body requires many things. if youre dieting, try drinking 5 water bottles a day or 8-10 glasses of water. it will make you less hungry. but, if youre dieting, PLEASE take vitamins.I'm dieting and losing my hair also, Why?
If your losing you hair and it just started with your diet. It could be a sign that you aren't getting enough calories. you can go To this web site put in some info and find out how many calories you should eat to lose weight.
Lack of protein and Iron. If you aren't vegetarian then try increasing the amount of lean meat you eat each day. If you are vegetarian then I suggest you do more research regarding Protein and Iron.
Probably too little protein or a vitamin deficiency. You haven't said what you are eating so that is pretty hard to determine. If you are starving yourself then you need to stop.
You're eating too little and you're body weakens and so does your scalp, which causes hair loss.
Can you be getting dehydrated?
Maybe the two have nothing to do with each other.
get off the diet then.
thats really really BAD
