BEST OF LUCK!!!! HOPE I HELPED.Losing my hair...........?
This must be extremely upsetting for you....so many people underestimate the effects of losing hair. There are many reasons why your hair might be falling out. Some of the others that have replied are right - it could be because of diet, stress, a traumatic experience, vitamin deficiency. It could also be due to alopecia. There are varying extremes to alopecia: Alopecia areata is partial hair loss where you will lose clumps/pieces of hair but not all of it. Alopecia Universalis and Totalis are the more extreme conditions where you experience total hair loss. My daughter lost all her body hair, eyebrows, eyelashes and hair at 10 years old and the devastation should not be underestimated. There is no way of knowing what is causing your hair loss without seeing a doctor - ask for a referral to a ';good'; dermatologist. They will be able to help you. Take care and look after yourself.
Are you eating properly? Your diet affects your hair in a major way. Your hair will get thicker, healthier, and resilient to falling out if you include these foods in your diet...
1.) Make some dietary changes. Hair consists of protein (because hair is keretinized protein) so be sure that you are getting enough. Incorporate foods from all food groups, especially protein. Nuts, poultry, vegetables, fruits, grains, eggs, etc. all contribute to hair health. Bacon is a hair superfood because of the B-Complex vitamins and protein.
2.) Consider taking a daily vitamin. Other vitamins and minerals that are believed to contribute to hair growth are: biotin, beta-carotene, biosil, B complexes, magnesium, sulfur, zinc, silica, nettle, and flaxseed oil.
1. Try to find a style you can live with that does not require straightening. Why are we never satisfied with the hair God gave us? Mine is as straight as a stick and I am always trying to curl it! ; -) Give your hair a rest.
2. If you have stress in your life, that can really make your hair fall out. Find ways to relax more and worry less. Get more sleep.
3. Healthy diet. Sometimes taking biotin helps with hair loss. GNC sells vitamins for hair that are really expensive. Read the ingredients on the label and get the same vitamins individually at a inexpensive pharmacy- like Wal-Mart.
It could be allopecia. Two of my kids had it. One completely got over it. The other child still struggles with it. Allopecia has a sort of pattern balding like around the ears. Also eye lashes and eye brows can thin to almost nothing. No cure for this so lets hope it is just the hair treatments you are using. Good luck!
1st you need a blood test a lot of times medical conditions cause hair loss like thyroid, 2nd stop the harsh straightening any hair is better than none 3rd get a bottle of mane and tail shampoo it costs around $9.00 for a bottle dont use it in the bath or you will grow hair in unwanted places. i buy mine at k mart so look around its great stuff.
If this is a medical issue you haven't provided enough info to get diagnosed.
See your doctor, who MAY then refer you to the dermatologist
to get steroid injections into your scalp(if this is alopecia areata).
Your doctor can prescribe hormones to help with this. It may be due to stress or may be hormonal or it may be to do with the straightening iron. Try using natural remedies such as honey and apple cider vinegar. That helped mine get thicker once more
