My parents have all their hair. My brothers have all their hair... Why??! I'm so depressed!!!Why am I losing my hair at age 32???
number of things can cause excessive hair loss. For example, about 3 or 4 months after an illness or a major surgery, you may suddenly lose a large amount of hair. This hair loss is related to the stress of the illness and is temporary.
Hormonal problems may cause hair loss. If your thyroid gland is overactive or underactive, your hair may fall out. This hair loss usually can be helped by treatment of the thyroid disease. Hair loss may occur if male or female hormones, known as androgens and estrogens, are out of balance. Correcting the hormone imbalance may stop your hair loss.
Many women notice hair loss about 3 months after they've had a baby. This loss is also related to hormones. During pregnancy, high levels of certain hormones cause the body to keep hair that would normally fall out. When the hormones return to pre-pregnancy levels, that hair falls out and the normal cycle of growth and loss starts again.
Some medicines can cause hair loss. This type of hair loss improves when you stop taking the medicine. Medicines that can cause hair loss include blood thinners (also called anticoagulants), medicines used for gout, medicines used in chemotherapy to treat cancer, vitamin A (if too much is taken), birth control pills and antidepressants.
Certain infections can cause hair loss. Fungal infections of the scalp can cause hair loss in children. The infection is easily treated with antifungal medicines.
Finally, hair loss may occur as part of an underlying disease, such as lupus or diabetes. Since hair loss may be an early sign of a disease, it is important to find the cause so that it can be treated.
(hope this helps bro!)Why am I losing my hair at age 32???
Check your tyroid gland and androgen hormones. If that hormones low or high level, consult with your doctor how to manage it. Keep your hair clean and hygenic. Better seeing a dermatologist doctor for more information about it. Many treatment are usefull on growing a hair and succed but some doesn't. If you didn't find the way out, face it and don't be depressed. A lot people in this world are bald.
it could be in your gentic make up...just because they have alot of hair or not loosing it,doesn't mean you got those genes too.
I am very short(5'1';)..and everyone else in my family is tall.(5'11'; %26amp; up)..I found out one of my grandmothers was around my height. All my grandparents died before I was born,so I asked my aunts %26amp; uncles about them.
Also you may need to check out your diet .Make sure it is well rounded and watch your stress levels %26amp; sleep....sometimes stress %26amp; an un balanced diet can affect other parts of your body ,like hair %26amp; nails.
Some medications can also cause hair lose...go online at Drugs.com... if you are on meds look up their side effects...scary sometimes to see them though...some side effects are the same as the probelms you are trying to correct or have worse problems than the one you are addressing.
Some people believe a healthy scalp is the key to keeping your hair.Make sure when you wash it you massage your scalp well, not just wash the hair.
Best of luck finding out..
OH YEAH: if you loose too much,it's more attractive to keep your hair cut very short, than to try to do a comb over to cover it..or let it grow long %26amp; wear a hat...I think hats can make the hair fall out to,as the scalp can't breath %26amp; I know a lot of guys who wore hats before they started going bald...funny it's where the hats touched their heads ??
lucky B@stard! I started losing mine at 17.
Live with it. It could be a genetic issue.
genes from ancestors
