i have been diagnosed with underactive thyroids so am now taking tablets but will i lose my hair and if so how much?Will i lose my hair with under active thyroid?
If you are in treatment, and taking your medication as directed, and having blood tests, and maintaining proper hormone levels, no, you will not lose your hair due to the thyroid disease. You may still lose it due to other causes :-) but not due to your treated thyroid disease.Will i lose my hair with under active thyroid?
Yes. You can lose hair with hyper or hypo thyroid. It all just depends, you're not going to go bald by any means, but you can lose hair.
i dont think youll lose your hair cause i have the same problem
